Dunning Settings

To access this settings page, go to Super Subscriptions > Settings > Dunning


Managing failed payments keeps subscriptions active. The Dunning page lets you decide how many times to retry charges, how long to wait between attempts, and what happens if payment still fails.

Payment retries


Choose how payment failures are retried.


  • Number of billing attempts: select from no retries up to ten attempts.
  • Time to wait between billing attempts: options range from 1 hour to 2 weeks.


Failure action


Decide what happens when all retry attempts fail.


  • Fail subscription contract: the subscription is marked as failed.
  • Pause subscription contract: pause the subscription so you can resume later.
  • Attempt again at next renewal date: skip this billing cycle and retry on the next scheduled renewal.
