Billing and Renewal Settings

Proper billing and renewal settings ensure subscribers are charged correctly and on time. This guide walks you through each option available on the Billing and renewals settings page and how they affect subscription processing.

Automatic price updates

• Prices are fixed at the time of purchase — Customers keep the price they paid at checkout for the lifetime of their subscription unless you manually edit their contract.
• Prices are updated automatically as they change — Subscription prices automatically match any changes you make to the product price. Customers are charged the new price on their next renewal.

Time zone

Select the time zone used to calculate order processing and renewal times. When processing orders in bulk, subscription renewals and order processing rely on this time zone.

Subscription renewal time

Choose how and when renewals are processed:

• Based on time of purchase — Each subscription renews at the same time of day as the original purchase.
• In bulk (daily) — All renewals for the day are processed together at a single time. When selected, use the additional dropdown to pick the hour (00:15–23:15) based on the time zone above for bulk processing.
