Editing a Subscription Contract

To access this page, go to Super Subscriptions > Subscriptions > { Select a Contract } > Edit

Editing a subscription lets you update the products, delivery schedule, or discounts for an existing contract. The interface uses the same cards as when creating a contract, but the customer is fixed and cannot be changed.

Instead of the customer picker, you'll see an Update summary card that lists all changes you're about to apply, for example switching from weekly deliveries to monthly.

When to Use This Guide

Use this guide to:

  • Modify the frequency or terms of a subscriber's contract
  • Swap products or adjust quantities
  • Update shipping or pickup options

Editing Steps

  1. Select a subscription option
  • Use the Subscription card to pick a different plan or customize the current one.
  • The menu () lets you change the billing frequency, duration limits, subscription discounts, and specific renewal dates.

  1. Adjust products
  • Add or remove products in the subscription.
  • Update quantities, prices, and any manual discounts on each line.

  1. Select delivery
  • Change the shipping rate or first order date in the Payment card.
  • Review the updated prices of the subscription

  1. Review the update summary
  • The summary card lists all pending changes: plan, products, shipping, discounts, and payment method.
  • Confirm everything looks correct.

  1. Save
  • Click Save to apply the updates to the subscription.

Every product shows the same price after I add one

This happens when the contract uses a Fixed price discount, which forces a single price across all products on the subscription. Click Edit discount in the bottom card of the subscription edit page and switch to Percentage or Amount off if the products should keep their own prices. See How subscription discounts work.

Editing many subscriptions at once

To add, remove, or swap a product across multiple subscriptions, select them on the Subscriptions list and use the bulk actions rather than editing each contract individually.
