Adding the customer portal link to your store navigation

Make it easy for your customers to manage their subscriptions by adding a “My Subscriptions” link to your store’s navigation menu. This guide walks you through the steps for both the Customer Accounts Portal and the Legacy Portal.

When to Use This Guide

Use this guide to:

  • Help customers find their subscription portal directly from your storefront
  • Improve accessibility and reduce support requests
  • Support both Shopify’s native Customer Accounts and the Legacy Portal format

Table of Contents

You can check which version of the customer portal you are using by navigating Super Subscriptions > Customer portal

There are two ways your customers can manage subscriptions:

  1. Customer Accounts Portal (Recommended)
  • Subscriptions are integrated into Shopify's native account pages.
  • Provides a consistent and predictable customer experience

  1. Legacy Portal
  • Subscriptions are managed on a separate page: /apps/my-subscriptions
  • Best used if you are not using Shopify’s new account system or prefer a standalone page.

Quick Add via Super Subscriptions (Customer Accounts Portal Only)

This method is recommended for most stores and ensures the correct portal type is used.
