Choosing the Right Portal Link
There are two ways your customers can manage subscriptions:
- Customer Accounts Portal (Recommended)
- Subscriptions are integrated into Shopify's native account pages.
- Provides a consistent and predictable customer experience
- Legacy Portal
- Subscriptions are managed on a separate page:
/apps/my-subscriptions - Best used if you are not using Shopify’s new account system or prefer a standalone page.
Quick Add via Super Subscriptions (Customer Accounts Portal Only)
If you are using the Customer Accounts Portal, you can add the navigation link in just a few clicks using the app:
- Go to Shopify admin
- Open Super Subscriptions
- Navigate to the Customer portal page
- Click “Add to customer account menu”

This will automatically insert the correct portal link into your Customer account main menu inside your Shopify navigation settings. For most use cases, this is enough and you will not need to follow the rest of the guide.
Step-by-Step: Adding the Link to Your Storefront Menu
